Designing an Exhibit
In the task of designing an exhibit of paintings, a computer can help by allowing you to hang "virtual" paintings. The white rectangle represents a 16- by 9-foot wall at the Bethesda Public Library. Most people don't realize that when you do this kind of thing on a computer, as opposed to a drafting board, you do not need to work in scale but can instead use real dimensions. So if I were to try to print this document, I would need a piece of paper as large as the actual wall!
