No-show week...

...at the open studios? Kate was sick so Tricia, another artist, stepped in. A frequent problem I have with painting figures is they somehow get attenuated (stretched out lengthwise). I guess this is a little better than having them come out too short and fat! Anyway Tricia's head does not in reality look so much like a golf ball on a tee!
