The Warm Shoulder

Montgomery College has an excellent open studio every Sunday morning specifically for painters. For some reason, my figure paintings tend to come out better there than anywhere else. There is a lot of space, good light on the model, and a neutral gray wall for a background, but today for the first time I looked at the ceiling to try to determine why it is I am able to see my work so well in the space, and saw that skylights fill the whole ceiling. Nice!
