Painting work station

In a German TV interview with Edward B. Gordon were some glimpses of his studio setup, and since it seemed very efficient I have tried to imitate some key features for my own space (he does not have a computer monitor for displaying photos, though). An adjustable panel allows one quickly to clip on a prepared board for painting, and the large empty area around it can be used to test colors. The paint mixing palette (Edward has glass) is very close to the painting itself. The most important feature, though, is that everything- painting, palette, monitor, still life setup- is at eye-level when one is STANDING, because in order to make a strong painting it is necessary frequently to step back from it to get the long view.
