Feelin' Blue


Very often it is hard to choose the right paint colors for what you are seeing, so it sometimes helps to think of colors as either warm or cool. If a color feels warm you can use yellow and red, or if it feels cool you can use blue or green. In the skin tones of Blueriverdream here, I was "feelin' blue."

I really like this one George...I think there are a nice relationship of the warms in the upper chest and upper face to the elsewhere beautiful "Blues" :)

Happy New Year, to you, too, Jeff! Thanks for your comment. Yes, I love to see that contrast in a human body when a model's ears, nose and cheeks might be flaming red while his stomach is a milky blue.
