Workshop Paintings

I took a workshop with the artist Kim English. It was a very educational experience that may fundamentally change the way I paint. Kim does not use line but immediately puts down large blocks  of color which are subsequently shaped and segmented with other colors. It is a very fast way of painting and can make for a lively image. Since most of the workshop involved us doing 5, 10, or 20 minute oil sketches that we immediately wiped out, I don't have many paintings to post, but I did save a few.
